I enjoyed my visit to Golden Dragon Museum today. I learnt a lot about the Chinese heritage in Bendigo. As a Queensland born Chinese it was interesting to read of the Victorian Chinese story.

Some antiques stuff even you can't find from the Museums in China. Astonishing history stories can let you stay there few hours. It really worth to visit. Also the lovely Chinese garden in another side of Museum .

I ate at the cafe attached and had the so-called "Chinese Platter" which had Indian samosas!

Wonderful museum for anyone who has interest in fine antiques and beautiful Chinese art/culture. Holds some of the rarest Chinese artifacts today! Give it a go, especially if you are like me, born Chinese.

A little dark and depressing but definitely an interesting stop during my visit to Bendigo. Excellent insite to a different aspect to our history.

The chinese garden is beautiful but there is no maintenance. You do feel like you are in China but the lack of care takes most of its beauty away.
