Well unlike some reviews, I enjoyed everything, the food, coffee, surroundings and service, I guess some businesss can just have an off day as people do.

Hey guys, Jaime Oliva here. Where do I begin? Firstly., Paul. Rude! Brutish! Underseasoned.! Just like the food./ (if i may say). My long term friend and nemesis; Guy Fieiri mentioned all of Bendigo's hot spots and I was socked that The Green Olive (3.8 stars) was not one of them as it was clearly named after me... but upon venturing under the alias of The Green Jamie (Olive), I was rudely awakened to the level of undercooked atrocities lying under the slimy green surface. Rude!!! (if i may say). Secondly, I tried the soup of the day - the soup. and it was too soupy for my liking. beyond repair. Fourthyly, (if i may say) the rudest of encounters, when I was eationg my soup Paul (whom i can only assume is the manager ) started to berate me with insults. He called me fat, weak, a bad chef - me, jaime oli - owner of 4 pizzerias, two delicatessens, two Fifteen restaurants, a Jamie Olivar's Diner, a Barbecoa and the Jamie Olivir Cookery School. I can not say this was at all a pleasurable experience besides the moment i left. What else can i say besides grease?

The coffee isn't amazing and the prices are ludicrous. Even next door is better value. The staff were rude and we ended up leaving to dine elsewhere.

Nice quiet place for coffee and breakfast or lunch. Good food, good staff and a good vibe; very popular on weekends.

The customer service was good but the food was a let down, we order chicken burgers and the bread was stale and hard to swallow. It also was quite plan. Not exactly what you you should expect for the $45 (2 people) we spent there. We also ordered a milkshake and the was probably the best part about our experience there.
