  The pool is good for lap swimmers, as long as they don't touch those lane ropes. But it needs to do better in its catering for recreational swimmers. As at times there are no areas available for them. The manager Leigh Nolen and some of his staff are way too serious and need to lighten up there approach. As they come across like the pool police. They burden public swimmers with far too many rules and regulations and harass children and patrons over trivialities. This results in the quality of fun being vastly diminished. I would prefer other pools.

  Lovely staff. Clean well maintained pool. Only downside is opening hours on weekends!

  Great pool, kept clean and well maintained. The 50m is solar heated during winter, I just wish the kids pool were also heated.

  Nice pool which has temperate heated water. Provides shaded grassy areas and BBQ facilities. Has 3 separate pools. From a Toddlers pool with shade cloth, to adult a 50m adult size pool. Facilities are okay. However on weekday mornings & afternoons the 50m pool is nearly always dedicated to having lap lanes. The manager gives preference to lap swimmers and in early morning swims you will not have a chance to swim recreationally. In the afternoons only a small portion of the pool is open to the public as most of the lanes are used by the swimming club and swimming schools. While they promote themselves to be a public pool they have actually rented out the majority of the 50m pool. And leave only a small portion open to the public. I have swam at the pool for 40 years and while the facilities have improved quality of enjoyment has not. The manager and his team of lifeguards are are nitpickers who go round continually telling kids and patrons off for diving, bombing, hanging onto the lane ropes and kill any having fun. However these rules don't apply to the swim club members or staff as they are allowed to break all 3 of these rules.
