  Disgusted in Centrelink . They are great at kicking people while they are down. Their appeals protocol is a load of garbage. The ones that do the right thing for years then overlook one little thing and boom, they withhold payment, yet the ones that rort the system just keep getting away with it. Clearly doing the right thing isn't the right thing. Those people sitting at their desks making crucial decisions that negatively impact people's lives need to have walked in the shoes of people requiring those benefits before they can make those decisions. No wonder the crime rate is so high in this country . Shame on you.

  Terrible phone service and waiting periods. Tired of having to contact centrelink on numerous occasions for the same thing and having it not be rectified!

  Really pathetic phone services and online services. Asks you to repeat ridiculous sentences about Australia 'to verify' over and over again to find out it doesn't work.

  After waiting in the line for half an hour to discuss medical receipts (deceased estate) with a Centre link /Medicare consultant (or whatever it is these days!), the laptop usher said I can't speak to anyone. Told to go online or use the app. I'm 65 with an old non app phone and the website !!!!!!!! Sadly, personal service has become very impersonal. Whatever became of those lovely friendly medicare folk from the Queen St office?
